Welcome to the Adams County Adult and Juvenile Probation Office!

As provided by through the authority of the Court of Common Pleas, 51st Judicial District; this department is established to integrate the delivery of programming into related community supervision and operations as deemed necessary for the protection of society and the rehabilitation of individuals under the jurisdiction of the court.

Probation Officers investigate, advise, counsel, and monitor individuals on probation and parole to foster their personal, social, and economic adjustment in the community. Work involves the counseling and supervision of individuals on probation or parole, completion of pre-sentence investigations, violation reports, and pre-parole plans. This also includes a wide variety of contacts with agencies, employers, friends, and families in securing information regarding supervised individuals, and assisting in developing useful and effective rehabilitation plans.

Mission

Our mission is to work as an indivisible team of professionals, adhering to the values of the Court, and concentrated upon the protection and safety of the public and prevention of criminal behvaior, in constant search of better ways to build the competence of offenders and restore their accountability to the victim and the community.
