James Delany appeared for contempt of court proceedings on March 21, 2023, as a result of his failure to make monthly payments on court costs and restitution. Judge Wagner issued a purge amount of $7,000 that must be paid on, or before August 24th, 2023. Failure to pay the purge amount by June 2 will result in James Delany serving 3-6 months incarceration at the Adams County Adult Correctional Complex. Additionally, his payment plan has increased from $200 a month to $400 a month following paid purge or incarceration period. 

Please note payment obligations are suspended during prison sentence. 

Restitution payments are received by the Clerk of Courts Office and placed in an escrow account. When sufficient funds are available in the escrow account for all victims to receive a ~$25 restitution payment, Clerk of Courts will distribute funds to victims through a Court Funds debit card.
