Prothonotary

Beverly Boyd, the Prothonotary, is an elected officer of the Adams County Court of Common Pleas. She is elected by the people of Adams County and Commissioned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Prothonotary’s mandates and responsibilities are derived from the Pennsylvania Statute 42 Pa. C.S.A. §2736 and §2737.

The Adams County Prothonotary’s office strives to deliver dignified, respectful, efficient service to all members of the community and to accurately and properly record, maintain and preserve the court records.
